Last Monday we had Victoria Page and Laurel Sheil from the Wesley come and speak to us, basically saying that they were looking forward to working with us again this year re the opera.
Our main guest speaker was Tegan Ford from Gateway to Training (based in Goondiwindi) who spoke to us on what training and funding opportunities were
available to help both potential employers and employees.
Our new French exchange student Marie was present and introduced herself.
Kylie, Ann and Julie promoted Rotary at the Seniors Week Expo on Wednesday. The banners displayed some of our focus areas. They invited visitors to sit and chat. They handed out some of our new flyers which are pictured below and Julie even gave some flyers to other stallholders to display in their business places around town. It was a great opportunity to let our community know that we are out there.
Next Monday is a Social meeting at Ballandean Tavern, so don't turn up at the Inter Club or you might be hungry. All members, including Satelliters and partners welcome.Let John Vichie know if you are attending.
