On Monday evening we had an enjoyable presentation from the two young ladies who recently attended the Rotary Youth Transition Seminar. This was a week long camp and Anna Henderson and Kirra Bailey Young represented Stanthorpe and reported on a week which gave them much enjoyment as well as a lot of leadership skills to take forward in life. I believe they gave a similar presentation to the Satellite group on Wednesday evening. Well done girls.
Jim Barnes, once again organised a successful two day seminar on Mental Health First Aid attended by 20 people including 7 Rotarians or partners.
This coming weekend the President-Elect training seminar is being held in Stanthorpe at the State High School and our club has been offered the opportunity to earn a little money by catering. The roster is below and if you would like to help it is not too late to contact either Ann or Alec.

During the week Stephen visited the Interact meeting at SSHS and is pictured above with, from left, Lucy, Indy and Rhea. He gave a 3 minute talk on the fun, fellowship, service, learning and personal development opportunity that Interact and Rotary could offer them. It was their first fortnightly meeting for the year. They have good numbers and are keen- and the catering was good!
